The Ecliptic newsletter is an intentional tool,
born out of a need to create a sustainable support network that connects fragmented artists and communities across Dublin.

We are developing a collective practice, investing our time and skills to co-produce ways of communicating, supporting and gathering that works for us (and not the other way ‘round).

Current art infrastructures (public/nominally public and private) are not working adequately for us. These institutions/organizations/creative agencies rely on us and our work. They require us to compete and perform through their systems and bodies in order to gain access to increasingly limited resources of time and space, whilst surviving various states of precarity. This process is ‘professionalising’ and is harmful to us, our work, lives and our communities.
